Anyone know where I can buy the CD of the game?
I won't touch a download version, DRM or not, doesn't matter.
I don't care about a 'boxed version' as long as I have a legit CD and licence.

Thanx. It's more than SF wants for the Download version (10$), but that's fine by me.
Perhaps they will take the hint.?

I just got the DL version about a week ago. you can burn the setup file to a CD. Actually they tell you to do so when you DL it.

I bought a brand new never-opened box version a couple years ago. Just so you know, the box version just had a jewel case in it. There was no extra manuals/maps or anything else in the box. The manual is on the CD.

I have seen in the last couple weeks, brand new boxed versions of both SEV and SF for about $5 each at a new/used book/software retail store in my area where I live. You might find it at Game Stop too. I have seen SEV in there before.

I've just never trusted DL of games.
I would certainly burn a copy of it, DL or original. Even Before I had kids that was prudent. Laughing
Rstaats10 you have given me new incentive. Very Happy
I'll try some of them in the area here (Toronto), what area are you by the way?

I don't do it much. Actually, the only 3 that I bought that way are StarFury, SE2, And SE3. Never thought about it before that it's only been MM games Cool

I live in Texas and the store where I found the new boxed versions of SF and SEV for $5 was called Half Price Books.

I checked and there is no Half Price Books up here, which didn't surprise me.
I've tried some of the local stores that sell (and buy/resell) games but nothing yet.
Still looking.

Still no answer from SF either... Rolling Eyes

Strange... I bought a CD copy of SF from Strategy First about 18 months ago for $10. I wonder why they stopped selling CDs of the game.

Only downloads on their site now. I e-mailed them about buying a CD a week ago and there is still no answer.
Really not into sales it would seem. No wonder S1st isn't doing so well...

Well I've tried 4 other stores, no joy. Sad
The stores mostly said they "might get it in again, but didn't know"
Still no responce from S1st either. Rolling Eyes

I have found that I Could buy the boxed sets of SEIV & SEV & Starfury & ORB for 30USD.
But not Starfury seperately.

Wait, no, my mistake. Embarassed Those are all downloads.

Does the download version use a unique key (specific to your system) or a Copy key (for your version, reguardless of system)?

I check today and found one on eBay and another five on Amazon - one new the others used.
Do a search under "Star Fury" on those stores.
